Please join us at Arizona Motorsports Park for our first Driver Education event of the 2023/2024 season. For this event, we will run the track CLOCKWISE. Gates open at 6:30 AM with the first car out on track at 8:50 AM. Four 20-minute sessions for each run group will be scheduled.
A speed and experience level for everyone: There will be several different groups which will be separated by experience/skill level: Novice, Intermediate, Experienced and Advanced. Additonally, there is a new "Track Experience" group for those looking to get a taste of HPDE. There is a run group for everyone- so don't hesitate to sign up if you have little to no experience on track.
To ensure everyone registered has a good time at the track, the amount of cars in each run group is limited. Sign up early to avoid being waitlisted!
Personal instruction: If this will be your first time attending a track day with AZ PCA or if you have not yet been approved to drive solo, you will be provided an instructor to ride along with you as well as classroom instruction to make the most of your day. Even if it is not your first time or if you have never driven at this track before, AZ PCA can accommodate (and encourages) an instructor ride-along (or lead/follow) to hone your driving skills.
Track Experience Program (NEW): This is an introduction to HPDE on-track driving. You will be paired up with an instructor and they will navigate the track in either your car or the instructors for a 20 minute driving session. This will give you exposure to what an HPDE is all about. Very limited spots available for this program. Your car must have the technical inspection performed on it and pass the safety inspection the morning of the event (both discussed below).
Wanna just hang out and lend a hand? We are always looking for folks to help us run these events. If you'd like to volunteer to help us, we'd love that! There is a registration option for volunteering and you can pick from several different roles of participation.
Registration fees:
- $175.00 for Intermediate, Experienced, Advanced groups
- $195.00 for DE1 Novice group
- $75.00 "Track Experience" group
- $10.00 comm rental for instruction
Not a PCA member yet? Don't own a Porsche? That's okay- non PCA members are still welcome to participate or volunteer!
If you are a Porsche owner but do not yet have a PCA membership, you can sign up today at https://www.pca.org/membership Annual membership is $46 and comes with other benefits, however, PCA membership is NOT a requirement to attend this event.
