About this event
The California Central Coast Region Porsche Club will hold a Driver Education at Big Willow Racetrack at Willow Springs Raceway for PCA members and non-PCA members on March 15, 2021. We will have intermediate, advanced and expert sessions. A minimum of four days of high speed track experience is required. Instruction is not available at the time of the event due to Covid 19 restrictions. PCA requires at least four days track experience or be signed off by an instructor to drive solo. Starting 1/1/19 PCA has required a head and neck restraint devise for any car with 5 or 6 point harness systems. Instructors please note, if you have a passenger in your car, he or she, must have equal restraints to yours including head and neck restraints.

Registration at the track will open at 6:30 AM and close just before the mandatory drivers meeting at 7:30AM.

Event requirements
We follow PCA DE guidelines. Please pay attention to the race seat belt requirements for Zone 8. 2020 DE rules require helmets be Snell SA2010 or newer 2015. 2010 helmet are acceptable until June 30, 2021
All participants must sign the insurance waivers at the gate prior to entry.
We accept completed Tech Forms from any legitimate auto repair focused business. Self teching is not allowed. You can use the below linked form from our web site, a PCA Zone 8 form or a POC form. Due to Covid 19 restrictions there will not be tech available at the track. Be informed that completed tech form of your car must be completed and emailed to Bob Bruington Aircooled911sc@gmail prior to the event. If you are near San Luis Obispo, we offer a free tech at SGS Independant Porsche Care, 750 Francis St., San Luis Obispo, CA, March 4th, starting at 5:30pm ending, 7:00pm. Please have the full tech completed prior to attending the event!
Proper clothing attair will be mandatory. Cotton long sleeve tee shirt, full length cotton pants, closed toe shoes.
